On a mission!

On a mission – These teens and chaperones came to the Urban Forest and Shipley to Shore Trail all the way from First United Methodist Church in Glendale, AZ! The 15 “stewards of the earth” spent a July Saturday morning clearing brush, planting, and spreading wood chips. A volunteer from their host church, Community United Methodist in HB, explained why they came:

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
